Unmasking the Next Generation's Hall of Fame
Players with the most Pro Bowl Selections
Pro Bowlers are selected by a an equal weighting of the votes from players, coaches and fans. Because of the unseriousness of the game and the selection process (with players opting out of the game and marginal players getting added), Hall of Fame voters don't weigh Pro Bowl selections heavily. However, in the aggregate they do point to longevity and peer respect.
The names in gold below are already enshrined in Canton, so you can see how active and Hall-eligible players stack up against them.
