I think it should be known that Largent retired the holder of every significant wide receiver record. Including most career receptions, td catches, and career yardage. Also, a then record 177 game catch streak.

Half of his career was spent in the "Ground Chuck" offense preferred by Chuck Knox. It is in spite of Chuck Knox's offense he was able to perform at a hall of fame level.
