Gale not being the Hall of Fame is very likely to Dan Devine and most of his career happened during the dark ages of the Packers didn't help. I mentioned the dark ages because voters like at Gale Gillingham as Vince Lombardi area Packer despite he only played for Vince for only 2 seasons.

I am Blaming Dan Devine decided back in 1972 to turn his best offensive lineman into a defensive tackle 5 days before the first regular season game with Gale in his prime as a guard. Gale ended up hurt his knee 2 games into that season and didn't play rest of the season. The Packers in 1972 ended up 10-4 and if Gale stayed at Guard, he would've made another pro bowl and another All Pro team.

My Argument is I think more voters might have considering for Canton if he had 6 pro bowls instead of 5 and another all pro wouldn't hurt.

Dan Devine also is not looked upon well due to him being responsible for the John Hadl trade. Green Bay gave up 5 draft picks for a player that was passed his prime.

2× NFL champion (1966, 1967) really should count for points for legend score as super bowl wins
2× Super Bowl champion (I, II)
3× First-team All-Pro (1969, 1970, 1974)
3× Second-team All-Pro (1968, 1971, 1973)
5× Pro Bowl (1969–1971, 1973, 1974)
Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame

Seems like this is more based on how many Packers are in vs someone that has proven he belongs in the Hall!!
