Walter's dominated from day one at a position he only played for 1 year at the college level. Despite playing for mostly poor teams in the golden era of HOF LT's Ogden, Pace & Roaf he still collected 6 AP's & had fewer holding penalties (8) than years played (12). An average of 1 holding penalty every 634 pass attempts. Such was his dominance that Shaun Alexander remains the only member of the NFL 100 TD club that isn't in the HOF (or likely ever to be) because despite being an offensive MVP, his performance is discounted as a product of running behind Jones & Hutchinson.
