Billy Ray Smith was a friend of my Dad's when he worked in the oil business. I have his business card which he autographed for me. It was inscribed "To Chris a future All-American, Best Wishes Billy Ray Smith. I didn't quite live up to the inscription. The Colts were and still are my favorite team. I even pulled for them when they played the Saints in the Super Bowl. The Colts played an exhibition game in 1964 me and my Dad went to the Roosevelt Hotel and I got Billy Ray Smith and Johnny Unitas's autograph. I was thrilled.
