About Jamal Lewis, EJ wrote:
Jamal Lewis did not have a hall of fame career because his career falls shorts of Hall of Fame standards although very good career. Jamal had a huge 2003 season, but wasn't close for rest of his career.

I said no because he had just over 10,600 yards rushing, touchdown numbers are low, did not catch the ball a lot out of the backfield, and the accolades are not there outside of 2003. I do think him missing the whole 2001 season do injuries didn't help him at all.

About Jim Bakken, EJ wrote:
Jim Brakken is not going to be inducted. There are 3 reasons for that.

The first reason is he's a senior candidate and kickers are very low the list.
The 2nd reason is Jim's field goal percentage didn't age well and voters aren't into comparing kickers from the same era.
The 3rd reason is I think the voters think Jan Stenerud should be the only kicker from Jim Bakken's era be inducted since Jan is the best from his era.

About Mario Williams, EJ wrote:
Not getting inducted into Canton. He's not the best player in his draft, but was a very good player. The fact is the best player in a lot of NFL drafts isn't the first player drafted.

He was given way too much criticism in the early part of his career. The media right after he was drafted by the Texans that the Texans made a mistake by not drafting Reggie Bush or Vince Young. The problem is Reggie Bush became overhyped as he entered the league. The fact is Reggie was a great college player, but not all of them end up in the pros as good as they were in college.

What happened is Reggie Bush didn't live to the hype as a player. Reggie also had problems staying healthy for most of his career. In the Saint Super Bowl season , Reggie had less than a combined 900 all purpose yards.

Vince Young as an NFL player didn't stay in the league long and is considered an NFL bust despite his 2 pro bowls.
