The 4-member Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 1974 was highlighted by the enshrinements of Lou Groza and Bill George.

Notable players who didn't make the final cut this year were Roosevelt "Rosey" Brown and Yale Lary (see below for the rest of the finalists).
